Good to see some happier easterners on here today. Good to see you getting your turn now.

How's it there Ed?

Agreed on that. Hardly any of the town's paths have been treated neither as the snow is covering those paths in town - particularly around the shopping centre. Only so much people can do.

Tomorrow for a lot of people is gonna be an day off me thinks.

I thought they did an ok job yesterday clearing shopping centre...walked up into town and it was clear with piles of snow shovelled to the sides so maybe they'll get people out doing the same later. Not sure my daughter will be coming back from her dad's in Hawkinge any time soon though!

Light persistent snow - added about 1cm to the existing snow cover. No big flakes though.

Quite heavy here now. Glad I decided against going to Leeds. Will try in morning.

Mrs Merkel decided to let us have a bit of her Snow, only a bit mind! lol [from last nights, "Ze Germans are taking our Snow" thread]

Which is jolly nice of her.good.gif

I think it was the famous 1987 super cold spell where low pressure moved NW out of France. That gave about a foot of snow across parts of the SE.

So not sure where its gone!

It's miles out to sea of the south west coast lol, look at the gfs6z rolling out everything much further west, block holding steady and the piece Canadian vortex much weaker. Cold going nowhere
