I don't really understand why it would be marginal? Temps here on the south coast aren't even above zero and are not progged to be all day, dew points are low enough all over our region as are the uppers.

In urban areas the temps will get above zero and there should be a slight thaw compacting the snow, making it less deep.

Snow should fall but depending on the intensity the depth won't rise as fast.

Yes even the Sandette light vessel in the middle of the Channel is -1ºC.

In terms of London, I think i'm luckily in the most favoured spot at the moment. The north east quadrant of London seems to have had more of the moderate bursts according to the radar. Snow is starting to pile up quite nicely, must be about 6/7cm's out there (which includes the snow from Friday).

Hi AFF

Nothing Marginal about this

Cant believe your depths down the road, kerbs have gone here and cannot see the grass anymore, and seeing as you are in close proximity to Dan, maybe I am going through to the next round! good.gif

Can we not have a separate thread for the silly FA Cup thing? This is meant to be a discussion thread not a pointless game.

Nice morning in Orpington, seems to be picking up a tad too. Just one concern the temp is creeping up and is currentlly at -0.9 is this a trend we need to worry about for this afternoon, any views on the temps and dew points downstream and how this might affect us.

Thank you.

Picked up here. Snowflakes have doubled in size - now small instead of tiny.
