Easing up here now - Dan would say its going to be a close run thing! Maybe a score draw looking at your pictures!

Still persistent but very light. Penalty's over the park then? wink.png

Moderate, fine snow still. Intensity has increased.

Time for a walk, may have to make sure the pub is en route!

Looks to be decaying over France. Now a bit confused as to where the "heavier" stuff is coming from this arvo.

Anyway I am pleased enough.

I think the fact that the MetO have refrained from upgrading their warnings to Amber speaks volumes about the snizzly and probably less-disruptive nature of this snowfall

More likely that because it's the weekend disruption will be minimal. Could be some tasty falls in the east of our region.

News 24 Helen was saying this system is going to develop and gave a big smile said some of it will be turning to Sleet and next weekend will be mild

Most of it is light blue indicating light snow according to the radar

Was talking to my Dad last night who lives in Hove, he said you had a thaw there yesterday, here in Mile Oak we still have a good few inches on the pavements and 4 level inches on the hills, amazing what a little altitude can do ....I think it's sticking to surfaces that already have snow, a car parked outside here about an hour ago and it's not settling on the roof of the car...it's about the only snowless patch if you discount the main road...all the side roads are impassable here now !
