Can't believe Gravesend and Medway towns have missed so much of the heavier snow yet again from this cold spell. It's now heavier 20 miles West of here and will be for much of the afternoon. Very annoying.

Just touching 4cm in Gravesend now. So i suppose i can't complain too much.

You can see the precipitation weakening on the radar as soon as it gets anywhere near Medway. Much the same as Friday, only we have actually managed to get some snow today.

Innit tho? It seems the Medway shield has only given in slightly! Not enough to go sledging or build a decent snowman, it's like it's teasing us!

Ahhhhh, if only we could have the legendary Thames streamer of 2009/2010.

We are looking good look east, as the northern progress of the low slows the intensity will increase as its travelling further across water, I expect the next few radar returns will show rapid intensification off the Belgium and Dutch coast.

Heavy snow bank swelled over East London now, spreading out to engulf central Lonodn too. Turned a bit epic here in Leytonstone!

Amazing really getting hammered at momentsmile.png

What are the chances of further snowfall for the southeast tomorrow?? Heard over on the model thread that the low for tomorrow seems slightly further south... Could this guarantee further snowfall for kent?

Just back from duck feeding at Crystal Palace Park, looks beautiful.

Snow much heavier now and roads just starting to get icy in places on the way back, as us and a few others were doing a slide dance.

Snow depth on wheelie bin now 7.5cm good.gif

Temperatures bang on 0.0c here, decent enough I suppose! Annoying to see the heavy snow once again to the West of me, but I can't complain, at least I have a decent snow cover now!!

Nowhere near that.

Depends where you are I suppose. I got 2 inches in Feb 09, I've beaten that today

Some yellow bits on the radar mixed in with the greens over NE London. This is turning out to be much better than expected!
