Moderate snow here, lovely big flakes floating down, best snow all day and night.

Looks to be an inch of fresh snow here. Temp back below O...-0.5c. It could have been more if the band of snow had moved in a more easterly direction.

That feature didn't behave exactly like the ECM hi res IF was showing I'm afraid - not as much E'ly flow and so most of us south of morpeth missed out on anything significant.

Yeah it looks as though it glided across the NE coast into inland Northumberland, as shown by the latest amended EC and radar.

We see another band moving into us from the E around midday- will be interesting to see if the wind dir changes. About an inch or so of fresh snow here this morning.

Nice fresh cover here in the Boulmer area, a nice surprise after the melt yesterday, about 2 inches of fresh snow and we are right on the coast so must be really deep inland. Most of he schools in Alnwick have shut.

Looks like marginality returns later this morning - expect drip drip drip if we get any precipitation at low levels!

Light snow falling all the way from Aycliffe to darlo. Moderate in some places. Roads are great. I quite like having snow and being able to travel easily. :-) very pretty.

No additional snow overnight I don't think, anymore snow today?

Looks to be some light stuff slowly moving up towards us,the main action looks to be over

Northumberland.

Quite a few road closures this morning which is no surprise.
