It is still quite wet here with thawing between the showers, but I think an inch or two is realistic by the morning if the temperature drops some more as there is plenty of precipitation about tonight.

Looks like that wont be till at least 10pm when the large shower passes over.

They must be getting pasted in NW Scotland

temp in darlo has increased about a degree in the past hour its currently 3.7c so no chance of snow at the mo

Colder upper air and dewpoints spreading in from the North-West now,so showers

turning more and more to snow overnight.

-7/-8 uppers is pretty impressive for a Northwesterly.

Absolutely!

I think many of us could wake up to a slight covering at least tomorrow morning

if temps drop below freezing as forecast.

a nice bit of westerly snow falling tonight on and off left a little bit of slush here and there, but as I said earlier unexpected by me, might bode well for tues wed when winds turn to north

Very little snow lying here now, melted as quickly as it came down! Looks good for some more showers soon though.
