Looks like we'll be missing out on the snowfall event early next week by the looks of it on the model discussion thread

Looks on to me. GFS has it hitting us too.

More to the point, the idea that you can forecast a snow event a week off is pie in the sky thinking. ;)

This is how GFS see's things for Monday further south looks like the place to be for the snow, it looks marginal in this region away from high ground

A lot brighter here now that front bringing the snow soon fizzled out

it was shocking 5/10 mins and now east cleveland is getting battered by heavy snow anyway tommorrow should bring some

Had heavy snow for half an hour at lunch time, but it has since been sunny lifting the temperature to +4C. I suspect tomorrow will be disappointing, really we need a cold frosty night before the snow showers arrive, but that isn't going to happen tonight. December 5th this year was good because the ground was sub zero so every flake stuck.

considering we are gunna be experiencing a northenly straight from the artic which is meant to reach as far south as north africa the temps arent that cold from tommorrow onwards can anybody explain why
