Still snowing but it's like wading through inches of slush, though everything's still white.

Not had chance to look, too good here for once!

Just wondering how this was panning out elsewhere.

Yes, good to be getting the action for a change!

Matt Hugo just tweeted:

Well another inch maybe 2 on top of what i got before, not as much as being in the amber zone i would have expected but a decent cold spell, if we dont get a cold spell in feb then its been an average winter but a potent blast in feb with decent snow wouold turn it from average to very good, still snowing anyway.

just went through the 18z GFS and the upper air temps actually get cloder as we go through the night from hovering around 0 down to -4 in a few hrs i think other factors suchas dew points and air temps will counteract this drop in uppers but still it may get us a bit longer smile.png

back edge not all that far away now-coming over Llyn peninsular heading towards Angelsey.Still stupendous amounts falling here.

Said this 3 times tonight but that could be curtains now. Still flakes coming down but getting back to the 7pm mostly rain. Still, great to see HEAVY lying now for once, quite a few twists and turns. Decent event. Best since 2010, a year that probably won't be matched for 20years IMO.
