Yes, i just think i was a bit unlucky by never being in the red on the radar, mind you i did better than most last sunday, a real full on intense belting for 5 hours that and stonking scenery the next day.

Just got home from Son's Rugby presentation night , had to leave my car about 1/2 a mile from home as traffic couldn't get up the hill, i will post some pictures tomorrow , but i have to say this is the heaviest and deepest snow ,that i have witnessed since i moved here 24 years ago, we have about 4 inches of the stuff at the moment , and the main roads are virtually impassable

I looked at the Stockport cams and saw rain too.....very unlucky for them to miss out if so.

Here....well.....It's been the best cold spell for years and years in terms of snow! A big event a week back which gave us 4 inches and 20cm drifts, some lighter events in between and some massive flakes of wet, sticky snow tonight giving us another couple of inches. I really can't grumble TBH.

BTW tonight here is really Feb 2007 esque

My car since I came home at 2130!

You must be at higher altitude, i have another decent top up but its a little bit slushy though, still quite deep on top of last sundays.

Just had a decent walk in it - back to rain now but grateful for unexpected return to snow tonight here. Got this pic from side of our car!

Well, as long as some of it hangs around for the morning for the kids, I'll be happy! 3 inches here but I can hear the wetter stuff threatening... fingers crossed!

That picture on the right looks like Broughton Jn32 would tie in with the snow near to me.

But it isnt .... look at the cams for Jn 31-32 and youll see what ive got to put up with ;)

Drip, drip, drip, drip, drip, by-by snow.

I remember feb 2007 it was an all rain event here, as most are.
