Glad it was yesterday we were in Liverpool, well west Derby is it, Alderhey hospital, it felt coldish here in Leyland yesterday but not as cold as they were saying it was going to be, we set off around 2.30pm and went through Parbold way and over to Alderhey, when we got out of the hospital car park about 3.30pm it was very very bitter!! I said to my partner its absolutely freezing over this way!! But when we come out of the hosp about 6pm it wasnt as cold, unless its because the consultants room was very hot! Lol

Snow grians on and off all day here in Oldham!

Hardly worth reporting isn't it, but hey I'll second that motion put forward by the right honourable gentleman.

The 12z NAE has pepped up the snow shower potential over the Pennines for tomorrow, so one or two areas may just see a little more than a flurry: http://expert-images.weatheronline.co.uk/daten/proficharts/en/nae/2013/02/22/basis12/ukuk/prty/13022312_2212.gif

While I working in Chorley it was snowing lightly on and off with an odd one heavier moderate burst in them. But only for 1 minute. That just suck ass. sad.png

I thought at the very moment when the snow got heavier it will last all day today on into the night. But the weather says ''nah dont think so''.

the only place that today's snow sticks is on top of Winter Hill, I can see it from Chorley.

Occasional flurries of snow here but TBH the main thing about today has been the feel of it.

I've recorded a maximum of -0.2c and it's now falling with a current reading of -0.7c but even with little in the way of a breeze it's felt absolutely perishing outside.

Things are looking better for a covering of snow in parts of the region tomorrow but I suspect not much more than that.

Still feel the 1-3cm will be reserved for the east of the Pennines or the very tops of them, can't see more than a few flurries on this side but who knows...

not what bbc just showed, quite widespread snow across pennines inc to the west manchester area, dont think it will ammount to anything though,we really need these cold easterlies much earlier than the last couple of days of feb when the sun just destroys any snowcover in a very short time.

bit of a waste imo
