Steady fine snow in Suburban South Embra, but not settling as yet...

Grass cover notable on the Braids and visible down to about KB level now, think the next shower ought to do it...

Really picking up here now, sky completely full of the lighter grainier stuff. Wind telling a story too as a lot getting twisted around and gives an indication of later possibilities with drifting. This is going to be a good 'un !

Lobbing it down now in Dundee. Quite amazed how quickly it's settling given how wet it is on the surfaces. Could be a lot of snow if this keeps going overnight!!

Could be a fun trip out to Armadale tonight then if band's still on (seems to be cancelled almost weekly due to snow).

Hefty, hefty shower just starting here...

This one rivals that one on Monday that we had, huge flakes and visibility down to next to nothing in under a minute.

Brilliant!

So, a brief review of the last few days here:

Sat: cold & sleet. All day.

Sun: cold and cold rain. All day.

Mon am: cold and cold rain. All d...

Mon pm: OOOOFFFFFFTTTTTT!!!!!!

Snaw's back.

Started at 2pm - very light stuff and wet. On and off. Has been growing heavier and more constant through the afternoon. Trying to settle, but ground is soaking.

Still, temp is at 0.9ºC/1ºC and it's on for the night, so would expect it to begin settling soon. Fun and games ahead!

wish some heavier stuff will fall here the flakes that are falling arent melting as soon as they hit the ground just not heavy enough to start giving a covering yet

If a blizzard is defined by visibility, then this is a blizzard now. Very very low visibility, proper snowflakes, starting to settle, coming in at a 25-degree angle...

Wheee!!!! :D

All you need is one decent shower to hit and it'll lie easily at that temperature profile.
