I've got a leg of one to roast in the oven on Sunday - but not one of these, look how clever they are to know the date....

Once you get one of them in the oven the rest will follow like...well, like sheep!

Hi MK, looks like you are on late night patrol then.

I heard the distant sound of someone mowing their lawn today - lunatics! One benefit of this cold weather is the grass isn't growing! To potentially get to mid-April and not have to get the mower out is quite something. Anyhow off to home in most northern North Yorks for Easter tomorrow. They got bog all last weekend! Did have light flurrys early this morning - left a tiny cover that disappeared by about 9am. Still drifts in the fields on the edge of town. Think I've got a few tiny bits of snow left against the fence! But bitterly cold tonight, already down to -3.6C.

What will happen to all that to our north east? Will it all fizzle out as usual?

Looks to be mostly heading to Medway, I hope it will come this far west though.

Sorry, I mean the large blob off of Holland at present. Seems to have been a lot of activity emanating from there today but it all disappears before reaching ours shores. Would that be due to the very cold temps of the water ?

The storm shown here stretches west to east from Newfoundland to Portugal. Its southern tail (cold front) extends into the Caribbean and the north side of its comma head touches southern Greenland.

Not only is it big, but it’s also super intense – comparable to many category 3 hurricanes. The storm’s central pressure, as analyzed by the Ocean Prediction Center, is 953 mb. Estimated peak wave heights are around 25-30 feet.

Thankgoodness that is not traveling east into us as normal.

Mornin each. It's snowing very lightly here in Ippy. This is getting very boring now IMO. The sky is grey but it really doesn't feel that cold.

Hope you're all having a nice weekend. :D
