Lovely big gaps in the clouds letting the sunshine through at lunchtime. Warm but blowy and some nice heaps of mashed potato on the horizon.

Mashed potato and cauliflower fill the horizon here too as the sun keeps shining out across campus. Quite a nice view this afternoon and you don't get caught out by a cold wind when stepping outside.

I actually initially read it as 'nice big baps in the sky'!

Can't see much sky in my office, but can see cauliflower type clouds bubbling up.

Judging by the past few posts, there are some hungry people posting today (myself included)... or perhaps just a bit bored.... or both!

Are you all talking about food knowing that this is one of my 'fasting' days?  And I thought I was amongst friends....

Um Chelsea, or am I missing something?!

.......Is the correct answer Archiesmummy. Just getting over my hangover now.  dirol.gif

Overall quite a pleasant day here in nw London, at least until mid afternoon. The cloud has flooded in since though. Think I may have to have another lie down hi.gif

Edit : On second thoughts, perhaps not. The skies around here are darkening and the radar is showing a few showers breaking out in this area.

No actual t/storms or sferics as far as I can tell, but certainly some convective showers breaking out just to the north and west of London at the moment. Nothing here as yet, other than gloomy skies.

About to start raining; a staggering 11C.

It is a pleasant 15.7oC here at the mo, and dry, and not blowing a gale for a change.  However looked at today's NW forecast for this area and that looks set to change back to the same old poo weather we have been getting of late ( I still blame MKSnowAngel for getting her hair done, I mean, just why? )

Actually, it never did start to rain; even though both Weather Channel and NW's radar said it already was...

As long as that channel is 5-7C, storms would never be able to cross it, it struggles to cross during August when the waters are 10-12C.

Hi all

Just back from an Indian yummy but getting expensive in them places.

Inc 3pints.

£97 for 4.

But was for Hubby birthday so never mind .

Anyway past few days put on a jumper and jeans in the morning.

And found myself sweltering later.

Hasn't been as cold as predicted.

To my mind anyway.

My station always giving out much higher values than predicted max.
