Mornin each. Sunny and warm with clear skies in Ippy with a few wispy clouds.

It was very sticky last night but it didn't stop me sleeping. A big TS would though. :D

Hope you all have a good day. And keep your eyes open...........or you'll bump into things. :D

Has it started clearing yet?

Was pretty murky here earlier (6 miles from North coast or 12 miles from East Coast), cleared massively in the last 45 mins

Nope, it's a little brighter but still complete cloud cover.

These ***** forecasters are **** pathetic, so much for " HOT AND SUNNY " with cloudier skies over the weekend. It's CLOUDY NOW with a chill to the wind. I knew from the very start that if we started to get any form of a north east/east wind that the clouds would start to come in. The location of the high pressure is the difference between hot and dry, slight breeze to cloudy skies increasing in the east.

Model's firming up on continued heat, YES. Model's boosting chances of increased heat and increasing chance of violent storms, pretty much YES. 30c breached on every day this working week, I certainly think that's a resounding YES bar a failure tomorrow.

Anyway, enough blowing of one's own trumpet as I’ve been suffering of late in this heat but it's a case of putting up with what we got, I guess. I am finding it hard to focus on the tasks at hand and next week will make that especially difficult given the added impetus of potentially violent storms thrown into the sultry mix. I have a feeling this Afternoon’s suite of model outputs are going to be MENTAL. Posted ImagePosted Image Posted Image

It is actually...

What direction is the wind coming from, what temps are the sea, is there a RISK of this happening? Didn't even get a mention for today only this weekend.

Oh and it isn't that localised, go look at a sat pic Posted Image

What a lovely day, now that the low cloud has disappeared...the NE breeze is quite refreshing too - after yesterday's horrible humidity.Posted Image

The infringing line seems to be receding along the east coast, unless you're in that line between Sheerness and Deal, where I imagine it'll be gloomy all day............

I think that, so long as there's no frontal cloud, the weather could be quite spiffing this weekend...Okay, so the mornings might start dull and grey, but the sunny afternoons will be a fair bit less muggy than yesterday.

Very hot here again. It's making me feel lethargic now. I just hope and pray it breaks in some storms. :)

Just back from Cromer.  Balmy 19C there, but the cloud/mist is lurking just offshore (only a couple of hundred meters by the look of it).  I would expect it to be back over us tonight

Some very thin cirrus showing west of me, but they are the only clouds in the sky

I agree with you that it could be "Spiffing".

Another hot day here, not *as* hot as recent days but still. Have to venture out shortly again too so will no doubt be a sweaty mess again shortly.

Yeah is steaming along the coast, probably lurking on the beaches here, but just 100 or so metres inland it's completely sunny and pleasant. Not forecast to be any cloud tonight, but hey that's what they said last night :p
