had a corker just, mustve been a good 10 flashes of lightning within 5 mins with a deluge to boot, wish id got some photos. I'd say rainfall came to about 6mm within a 5-10 min period.

WOW!!!! look at this lightning radar like an arch bow of intense activity leavin some of the south with a gap!!

Yes, the distant thunder is becoming louder and more prolonged every time here too. This should be fun.

Doesn't look like it's going anywhere fast either. Not a bit of wind....yet.

Morning PM, same here in Matlock, also looks like Chesterfield in firing line, huge claps of thunder.
