A messy clump of CB's forming to my N/E although they will probably leave the mainland before they come to anything!!

It is unbearable out there today. So humid! Nothing much happening here, there was a quick shower about noon but that was about it.

Kate Kinsella on Look East "looking ahead to the rest of the week we might get some warmer downpours"  - what planet is that woman on????? Posted Image

I've wondered that ever since she first appeared - better than the brunette with the simpering voice though - Italian surname.

Cloudy and muggy, just about managing 21C. One rumble of thunder and I'd be more than happy right now!

Crazy in Cambridge, so humid, haven't felt a day like this for years, feels 'explosive'.

Think I managed to get about an hour last night. Probably the worst storm I've seen in the 25 years of my life. Just mental from 1 in the morning and went on till 8. Had the odd break in there for ten or so minutes and then fired back up. Not just average stuff either, it sounded like a warzone, proper strikes and explosion.

Expecting more later today and tonight? You can feel it in the air. Wouldn't surprise me if it started at any point and just erupted. Bring on the bloody winter.

according to Jay Wyns latest forecast, the worst is well and truly over for us, as the emphasis now moves to the north and west.

He forgot to mention it will still be unbearably humid and muggy then?

Whether storms come to fruitation or not this afternoon/evening, does anyone know when the humidity will go and things have a more fresher feel?  It's like being blasted with a hair dryer at the mo and I can't move without breaking out in a sweat (yes yes, not very lady like I know!)

25.9° here. Muggy and bright. Met office radar suggests we've been under a deluge on and off for hours. Can assure we have not!

(Oh, and hello all from this new boy!)

I think the storms are playing meteorological hopscotch over the Triangle...
