Bright to the East, darker to the West but not bad overhead in Eastbourne this morning.

How about a bit of a semi-serious prediction for the colder season then? No prizes, just the kudos of being closest:

What date will the first visible snow fall to the ground and give at least a light dusting in our region and where do you think that will be?

I'm going to say December 18th and I think it will be in Kent and Essex.

November 12th, in Cromer, the first Arctic plunge of the season.

I'm going to say December 18th and I think it will be in Kent and Essex.

 

I reckon that might be a close one, but will it be a white Christmas?!

quick visit from me before I head off to continue the weekend chore-quest.

 

 

Felt nipping "in" the house when I woke up this morning, so was suprised to see it was 12oC out by 09:00 and when putting the washing out a while ago it feels rather pleasant out.  Dry for now, some sun too with a breeze.

Suffering my first hangover in months this morning - it's just reminded me why I no longer drink to excess anymore 

 

Weather wise, not a bad day out there (when I take my sun glasses off)  Although not wall to wall sunshine, it's bright and surprisingly warm

I must say I am surprised we haven't seen any storms recently, the air has most definitely been muggy and we've had some spectacular convection cloud-wise.

Quite a nice sunrise this morning, although not as colourful as yesterday evening.

 

 

Right, off to the pub to catch the second half of the footie (and a whole lot longer).

 

Hopefully I won't be as drunk as Snow Raven later, but if I'm there for the rest of the day, then anything I post late this evening might be incoherent nonsense and the 'ignore' function might be useful for the rest of you, with regards to myself, until tomorrow morning.

My fingers are so cold from being outside doing the windows with hubby all day. Well, he did most of it, but I did offer cups of tea and helpful advice 

If it could be dry and sunny in Bookham tomorrow I'd be grateful. Day at mum in laws prep for winter as she calls it. Which is clear the gutters and tidy the garden up and put stuff away. Unless it's pouring with rain, she'll have us out there doing it.

Evening all. A drab day weather wise here. After the mid afternoon showers finished, I took my eldest son to the park, with some nuts, to feed the squirrels.... We had a great time, and got some close up pics on my phone... Sorry they are sideways, posted from my phone....
