Could turn colder with the chance of snow for east part of england between 7th-10th. Then second half of the month turns very warm for the south east.

Which month?

Rained heavy for half an hour here in Potters Bar. Thought it was supposed to be dry until rush hour?

My Weather station has just sent me a notification for heavy rain, had a bit of drizzly stuff here earlier but now just low dark fast moving clouds.... Can see the evening blob moving up on the radar... I thought it might have been here earlier, but looks like after dark now?

Early gin O'clock today I think. Tis Friday and all....

Afternoon all

tis a damp and gloomy day here, not cold as such.  12.7oC but without the wind today it just "feels" a bit warmer.

Was hoping to get in and take the rest of the night off, but just realised I need to go to the bank.

CAPTAIN.  Frosty just posted in the model Thread. He might have looked in my crystal ball. Lol.Posted Image

Ah it's not real cold though, I want my Ice floes in the north sea Posted Image

On a serious note the weather looks distinctly November like for the foreseeable, raging vortex and interchanging mild/cool sectors as low pressure sweeps by.

As the next week or so are a bit slow, why not have a ramp at epic Christmas white out charts

Good evening all.

It's been a grey and wet day here in Sussex. Boys and I went to the pictures in Brighton to see Thor.We all really enjoyed it - great special effects.

Drove through a lot of standing water on the way back and it's been raining on and off since. It's currently 11.4 here, but somehow feels colder. Lit candles to make the lounge feel a bit warmer!

Glad my 2 are too old to want to be going out for fireworks this evening, eldest off to the pub, youngest catching up with homework and spending the evening in front of the t.v. with me. If you are going out, enjoy and wrap up warm!

Yellow Warning of Rain for London & South East England :

Brighton and Hove, East Sussex, Kent, West Sussex & Medway

A spell of heavy rain is expected to affect parts of southeast England during Friday and early Saturday. The public should be aware of the risk of localised flooding.

Issued at:

1712 on Fri 1 Nov 2013

Valid from:

2100 on Fri 1 Nov 2013

Valid to:

0300 on Sat 2 Nov 2013

An area of low pressure currently developing over the Atlantic Ocean will track close to  southern England later Friday and early Saturday, bringing 15-25 mm of rain. Even at this late stage there is uncertainty about the extent of the heavier rain, which may only affect coastal districts of East Sussex and Kent.

If it does come off it will be short lived.. interesting bit is if we get the Very Warm end to November. Nature has a funny way of following heat with cold.
