It'll probably peter out before it gets to me, which is a good thing because I hate thunder lol.

I'm just watching the news and am shocked to hear about the roof collapsing at the Apollo Theatre in London.

i'm so glad that it's dry and calm there weather wise. Would not want to see them dealing with this in the weather we had earlier.

I was wondering whether the heavy rainfall over the hour or so beforehand might have had something to do with the collapse. Current reports imply that there are only two casualties left inside, but it's still shocking.

Just driven from SE London to Southend, had thunder lightning, hail, sleet, and heavy rain, but the worst of it seems to have stayed away from Southend, just a bit of heavy cold rain.

SE London went white briefly under the hail.

Sod all here apart from a load of heavy rain! ¬_¬ Certainly wasn't expecting any snow anyhow, unlike some people :D

Temperature is dropping again now, down to 3.6c, may be a bit icy in the morning :)

Got caught in heavy rain, hail, thunder and lightning around Westminster at 7 just as I was leaving the winter graduation ceremony for the masters students; had planned to walk back along the river to Waterloo but after a few minutes of being pounded by the elements we ducked into Westminster tube to take the drier option. Quite a dramatic few minutes.

Here are some pics from earlier today, it really was a beautiful walk along the river.

Oh wow i didn't hear about it just found sky news on the computer when you said that. What a terrible and unexpected thing to happen just before Christmas as well.Well its a terrible thing to happen any time of the year but you know what i mean.

Anyway the wind is getting up again here and blowing in quite strong gusts although infrequent.I'm not sure if its raining or not.

Southernman said its torrential rain at Reedham.

Just finished watching the Puissance from Olympia, utter edge of the seat sport in the last two rounds, this stuff makes my year, love it!

Errr weather, yes, just looked out and dry, bit of a breeze and seems colder, can see stars so looks like the cloud is going.

I used to love that Jax but other half has the remote tonight.  I'm always there with my heart in my mouth as the wall goes higher.

Been a follower since a young lad, and used to be there in years gone past, I was cheering them all on at the TV, but the best person won tonight (and their ride), may watch it again later as I recorded it.

According to latest news reports lightning has been ruled out as a cause of the Apollo ceiling collapse.
