What's due to hit us over tue run up/over Xmas? Anything exciting?

I'd say similar scenarios to st Jude, if not, worse.

Can't hear a thing with this new double glazing but my weather station has just reported 27MPH in my garden which is near record so it must be bad out there as it's a bit sheltered!

Morning all

Thank goodness I don't have to get up for work this morning, it's horrible out there! Wet and windy.

I hope things improve later as it's Mr Raven's works Christmas party - a river cruise up the Thames!

Have a lovely weekend all!

Well it certainly has blown a hooligan all night. Got woken up several times by the house shaking.

Supposed to be doing a winter bbq later on today.  Think I might have to do it in the garage!

What a thoroughly stinky day out there, I say day, it's more like nighttime. 39 mph gust this morning and the BBC TV weather has just confirmed 80mph here Monday into Tuesday

Morning all

Looks very "wild" out there, seen my wheely bin go up the road in the strong gusty wind, rain seems to be easing off now here, may get out in a while, but that will be a quick trip out as Olympia in on BBC this afternoon and plan to be watching that later.

Morning :)

A thoroughly grotty day so far and looking at the radar there's not much better to come...it's so dark! Currently raining lightly and 9.1c with a strong SW'ly.
