Drove from East Grinstead to TWells and back today mid pm.......roads were atrocious with surface water flooding and blocked drains from leaf-fall!My direct experience of ES Highways is they always plead "no budget"....so I'm pleasantly surprised they have achieved the above metrics on a satruday so near to Xmas!Spot the sarcasm LOLxxxx

Tell me about their budget potholes galore down here, oh well guess we could always use them as an outdoor swimming pool this week!

Anyone travelling by train on Monday National Rail are already warning of potential disruption on Monday. They say to check their website for updates.

I'm heading to my parents in your neck of the woods Jules. I do wonder how National Rail can expect disuption on that line, given that they seem to cut down more or less every tree on the embankments that might be even a vague threat.

If there is any disruption on the line you can bet that the East Coastway line will suffer we get treated like third class citizens compared to Brighton. I have heard rumblings that they are worried about landslides along the line as well.

Lol well the last one was at East Croydon so Haywards Heath could be a tad optimistic! Basically anywhere along the lines.

Londoners eh!

Seriously though Crepuscular they haven't said anything specific but it is a concern they have. If I do hear anything will put it up on here.
