Very thundery with high humidity and very black clouds forming all around. Feels more like late June out there.  Currentlly 18c

I can see that stuff heading north towards us on the north coast. It's been a nice warm afternoon after a dreich start - looks like a some downpours soon unless it fizzles out...

Just about to get pummled with another dose of rain

Grey and dull here currently, but on the bright side, no school tomorrow, Monday or Tuesday!! :clapping: If only the weather was more exciting.

Sun came out this afternoon but in the light ENE wind it stayed fairly cool. This last 10 days have been pretty cool as grass growth has tailed off in the grazed fields and we are having to strip graze a bit of a silage field. Real mid summer tonight with sun setting over the Firth to the NW. Currently 9c

Cracking morning with full sun.

Springwatch's favourite bird, the Cuckoo, was keen to tell me something at 3:29 this morning... :aggressive::bomb:  Chris P evidently lives in a town!

Lovely afternoon and evening yesterday and feeling OK with a temperature in the mid teens. Today so far has been almost wall to wall blue skies and the temp has climbed back up to the mid teens again. Bit of a breeze though.

Wall to wall sunshine here in the Highland capital, temperature just under 18'C so looking like a fairly warm day to come. After what seems like almost a year of autumn, summer's here!  :drinks:

It was 3'C here as well at 2AM last night when I went to bed (a late one!), not sure if it got any lower than that but there was a slight frost building on the cars etc. Hope the weather's treating you well, Inverness is full of that familiar smell which signals that the farmers and crofters are hard at work!

This set up could cause this to be the case into the foreseeable future. In saying that, it's quite common for the north to get the best conditions in May and June, tends to be the other way round come July and August.

Springwatch's favourite bird, the Cuckoo, was keen to tell me something at 3:29 this morning...

Spent a few nights each of the last two weeks of April camping at Glencoe and I'm still having nightmares about the Cuckoo ! :o

Currently 14c already and feeling much warmer in the very strong sunshine... Let's hope it lasts, if so 20c should be surpassed
