Sunny so far today, but with a few odd patches of cumulus cloud dotted about. It feels warm outside, although the local Met Office temperature report shows it being around 16.3*C - then again, that was for 10am. As such, I suspect it's probably around 17 or 18*C by now.

Very slowly brightening up but I think it'll be too little to ensure the full washing line of clothes gets dried despite the warmth. The minimum this morning was 16.3c making it one of the highest minima of the year.

Funny old day really. Most of the afternoon hazy sunshine with varying amounts of Ci and some high Sc. Pleasantly warm tho with a temp of 19C and a light northerly.

Earlier brighter spells gone, in fact it even looked slightly thundery at one point given a few darker looking bases...chance of course less than nil maybe slightly lower..

Was working in kingsnorton, B'ham this morning and the skies went very dark for a hour or so, but not even a drop.... very glad as i was working out doors.

 

Very dark skies to the East of Brum ATM... Currently 21.1c here

Miserable sunless day, very disappointing week considering 24c and sunny skies were originally forecast today, in an ironic twist the weekend now looks better than the week when it originally looked dire.

Much sunnier skies tomorrow hopefully as the grot gets shoved into the continent.

It turned increasingly sunny this morning, after a rather cloudy start, but very hazy this afternoon with high cloud in from the West to South West.

 

Very happy for this weather pattern to stay for quite a while.

Rather formless sky this morning of Ac. It's very difficult to estimate the height in these conditions but taking the Camborne sounding as a guide ( bearing in mind it was sometime ago) about 14,000 feet.

I wish it were the Met Office forecast that were true though.

Was surprised to wake up to puddles everywhere as I wasn't expecting rain until later. Damp, muggy and misty today so far with occasional patches of blue sky.

It looks as though it will be this evening before the clearer weather arrives here. There's been very little rain but it's overcast, calm, mild and misty with the rain still over Lancashire.
