Around 13*C with clear skies at the moment. Yesterday was definitely a more preferable day, though, with that clear sunny afternoon that occurred. It made going out for some walking a pleasure. In fact, it was probably one of the best days of August, weather-wise.

I think a dull week coming up for west and north midlands, todays rain and rest of week dominated by north sea misty low cloud

Think you will be wrong there, expect decent sun amounts Tue to Fri West Midlands, and even sunny spells for EM most days.

There a thin wedge of light rain easing it's way into Bomo & Poole, interesting as it's developed recently into something a little more substantial

ANd has now evaporated. Oh well, nice try. :clapping:

Chilly one last night, down to under 5C for a couple of hours, with a low of 4.7C.

Sun just breaking through the cloud now, looks like it will be another sunny day here.

Clear starry night sky sky with bright sun first thing, but 8/8 AS has now drifted in.

It is abysmal here. The forecast last night said cloudy for the rest of the week here as well. So much for all this 'Summer' ramping.

15.5°C and overcast.

Interesting that you say it was starry and clear last night, it was cloudy here, a minute of 13°C

We also had to endure that smoke from the landfill fire forma second night.

Oh, it's raining now as well. #&%#£*#&@%#£@

Give it a chance still a lingering weak front down there, south coast should be better tomorrow, but cloud for the east.

Gorgeous here in the west as you would expect with this set up, unbroken sun and set to be the warmest day since August 9th (22c).

Currently 19.3c.

Thick fog first thing which lifted to low cloud and since 10.00 it's been sunny. Temperature now 18.4C. Looks like a corker of a day, shame I'm inside for most of it!

Perhaps you did too well in August Mapantz when I recall you had many decent days which were forecast to be showery etc!!

Not sure if a weak front went through here mid morning, but there was an hour or so of low cloud which moved E-W with clear blue skies either side of it. Beautiful warm afternoon now, patio door open for the first time in a while.

Bang on there, Andy! I got very lucky during August.

If there's no sunshine by the late afternoon, it runs the risk of being the coolest day since June 5th. It'll be close though, August 25th saw the lowest maximum since that date, 18°C

Currently 17.7°C :)

I'm hopeful of something better tomorrow though.

Very pleasant day today, 20.4c max, plenty of sun after work.

Praying the weekend breakdown changes, stupid shortwave planning to swamp us in cloud after 24/25c Friday surprise surprise.

Cloudy once again. Yesterday the forecast I had seen said sunshine but it was cloudy all day.

Today the Met Office say sunshine this afternoon, but the BBC forecast I saw about an hour ago looked like staying quite cloudy.

The odd bit of hazy brightness and 18.5c, but on satellite a lot of cloud lingering here when it's clear blue skies west of Mid Devon. On the local forecast these are meant to be sunnier days before more cloud later in the week.

It's certainly a very cloudy high!

If anything, it will get cloudier for many.

After a completely overcast two days, I have blue skies and 22.3°C - Warmest temp since August 7th.
