Was she'!'te over Bomo, cloud barnk came down. BUT, did have a plus side, it generated some rotation, which we watched from Sandbanks, as it dropped, rose back to the cloud edge Nd tried again, but it was all over. A great 10mins of viewing, better than the air show.

Yeah, I posted that before I looked at the charts or satellite imagery. It showed an area of thicker cloud moving in.

I tweeted this and abruptly got pulled up by bmouth echo, disputing it because they looked at taf data saying otherwise. What happened? It clouded over. :whistling:

We also had a drop of rain here too.

rain mostly missed me to the west today, but now going to start, NW Cheshire Gap winds are the dullest and wettest direction, cheshire Gap day again tomorrow, expect the SE Midlands warm and sunny, and the NW Midlands grey and drizzly

Much sunnier than forecast today.

August turned out to be the black sheep of this summer making it the equal wettest to 1996 I`ve recorded at just under 6 inches.

Much better than yesterday which was cloudy all day and I don't think there was any sun at all. Today has been pretty much sunny all day with generally just 1 octas small cumulus. Temp reached 21.1c, the highest since the 9th August (Though only just as it reached 21.0c 3 days ago)

Managed 21°C here too.  Jurassic coast was stunning this morning, early, before the hoardes arrived!

The warmest day since much earlier in August here too and a stunning clear sunset this evening.

Have we really got a grim drizzly day tomorrow? What a shame the trailing fronts from Cristobal are going to spoil things.

Lovely day today at Thorpe Park, actually felt warm with little breeze and the sun still felt quite strong - and the highest temperature of the second half of this month.

Got a day of indoor jobs tomorrow so no bad thing the weather is going to be dull.

I think a dull week coming up for west and north midlands, todays rain and rest of week dominated by north sea misty low cloud

A damp start with some light showers, temperature 15.6C pressure 1019mb with a light NW wind.

The cloud should clear later to give some sunny spells.

A disappointing start after the crystal blue skies of yesterday! A bit soggy and damp, but hopefully it will brighten later.
