Increasing warm sunshine now after a foggy then Stratocumulus filled morning.

It was very noticeably warm yesterday evening when out at football, warmer feeling after 21.00 than the last few Saturday afternoons have been!

You'd think this time of year would be the least likely for North Sea grot, muggy tonight under the murk, 18c still.

We didn't get any of the wretched stuff all June and July. Is the cold August cooling the seas the reason for this cloud

Blue skies and 19°C

BBC: Starting off cloudy, cloud clearing.

What really happened: Started off sunny, cloud increased.

Nothing but a cock-up of forecasts so far this week.

Just like yesterday the Stratocumulus began to burn off in mid morning and seemed to be clearing completely just after 11.00, however for some reason I can't think of it has returned as thickly as it was first thing! Warm and humid though.

Sunny Spells today and max of 20.9c, still a bit more on the cloudier than the sunnier side however.

Looks like clear blue skies all day just down the road, lucky sods.

Gloriously sunny warm calm day, max 22.6c, that's the past 3 days above 22c.

lovely sunny day here today, a little hazy at times, but that's being picky. Max Temps 20c.

Best day this week so far. Tuesday started glorious and then clouded over late afternoon.

While Wednesday started and ended cloudy, but was sunny for later morning, and all afternoon.

Misty right now, but the sky is beginning to break and it looks like another stunning summery day. If it is, we will have had a fantastic week's weather. Certainly making up for August's coolness and breeze.

18.3°C and overcast again.

This has been the worst week of weather of the whole Summer, just one full, sunny day. The sooner this has gone, the better!

Been a mostly cloudy week, bar late Monday and Tuesday morning. The sooner a more mobile westerly can take over, the better.
