Very cloudscape skies today. Lovely anvils at times. Had a shower here at long last

Morning happy campers! What a glorious morning, no cloud.....yes, that's right NO CLOUD! Wall to wall sunshine and lots of white frost. Temp got down to -2 last night and has just crept up to the dizzy heights of -1.8. Looks set to be a grand day to get out and do some serious digging in the garden.

Hi folks...hope all are well.

Another beautiful morning......seems I've seen far more frost this March than the whole of Winter 13/14..

Talking of Winter...there was a snowplough on the go down here last night.

Have I missed something?

Frost was still lingering a little at half past 9 this morning. Must have been really cold last night. Sunny again (like most of yesterday was) but without the dramatic cloudscapes/anvils although the cloud has bubbled up

Low of -2.1C last night. Looks like snow for high ground tonight and tomorrow morning

Surprised nobody is mentioning the snow forecast for overnight and early tomorrow morning. Snow accumulating over 200m but warning does say potentially 1cm or some slush at lower levels.

This has only sneaked in very recently(wasn't there at 9pm- perhaps to cover arses if it goes slidy side up in the morning

Cold start to the day at 0c but bright and sunny Cawdor hillspost-2744-0-21006900-1427327305_thumb.jp had fresh covering today mixed with the significant  drifts left from winter. There were no drifts left over this time last year.  Most of these drifts are between a 1000 and 1500 feet. Another fact which points to a colder winter this year than last year. Currently 3.5c

Met office were right to put out a warning, indeed spot on suggesting possible slushy cm cover lower than 200 metres - we've got a 3-4cm cover and its not slushy and still snowing.

Woke up to about 3-4cm dump here this morning in port. Nothing at lower levels and up towards Paisley nothing either. Never expected that! Rapidly thawing though and light smirry rain on.

Snow line is fairly low today here in Stirling, nothing at low levels as expected. Quite a few cars with snow on them driving through the town.

Quite a contrast to earlier in the week when it felt pretty warm out in the sun.
