This Winter continues to suck.

The fact we've been scrabbling around for snow 'scraps' today and this eve says it all really.

Well, the wind warning is certainly valid.. Getting gusty out there. I'm off to bed - at least the cold looks here to stay for a while yet.

Did you have to shout that?! Rub it in our faces ((sob))

Can we not have one decent snow event this winter

Slow thaw now in place also of what little snow I have on the ground. :wallbash:  :wallbash:

Utter joke.. never an upgrade but you can guarantee a downgrade every time.

Was just the way it got copy and pasted - sorry, didnt mean to rub it in.....

Roll on next week then..... Hopefully things will be more positive for the South West.

Wake up man.. Monday Tuesday is doomed from the start... 70% chance of a non event.

Ok, things looking slightly more promising here in Oxfordshire.

Reports of heavy snow in B'ham, PPN exploding over North Wales heading South East, temps currently cold enough here... PLEASE LET THAT PPN REACH HERE!!

I don't believe this. I stay up till this time, I see a shower over my location. I look out the door and turn the security light on...It's bloody raining!!!!

*throws toys out of pram and smashes them*

Joke, complete joke.

Icy graupel beating on the window keeping me awake. Things looking like they are a little white outside but no street lights here and certainly not worth going down stairs to switch a security light on!! Did see a flash of lightning 10 mins ago towards the coast but no thunder. Hope at least some of you are having good luck.

Wow a couple of flashes and massive cracks of thunder, sounds like right over head. Husband has just turned the broadband hub off, so I'm down to using 3G, so slow. Grrrrrr!!

Looking s little too wet out there and not a whiff of snow. Still slept well so there must have been some heavier bursts.. Always do when it rains hard!!

Very blustery with wind N. 25mph gusting 55. Frequent rain showers and a temp 4C.

The Camborne 00z sounding a good example of an unstable northerly airstream.

BIt of a fun evening here predictions of rain showers wide of the mark had sleet hail and snow showers. Cracking. Now an upgrade for the weekend as well with sleet and some snow predicted both days. Princetown has 2 days of heavy snow. The roads round here are going to be full of snow tourists!

and by today those predictions have been downgraded to rain and sleet.....darn
