Car said it was 29.9 here. Overcast and keeps trying to rain but only spots. Hopefully we will get a thunderstorm or 2 to clear the air. It's very muggy here

I'd like to experience the 37C in London. But it's UK heat, not Mediterranean heat, so I imagine it would be so nasty. We've had 32C here twice this spell. That'll do me

is that the cold front? Must surely produce something as it interacts with the plume.

Like in Winter when rain runs into cold air and we get Rain LOL

But yes you would think there would be some T/L

So what happened to our chance of thunder this afternoon? Once again the NE gets all the fun.

The Met Office warning only started at 4pm, so plenty of time yet.

The Outer Hebrides have had quite a bit of activity this afternoon going off the sferics. It is making me ask myself what the hell is needed here to get such activity?!

If it is luck then Mother Nature keeps dealing this part of the world, 7 high poker hands when it comes to thundery side of things.

I have experienced it and it isn't nice to be around I think you'd rather pass I'm melting  I've experienced a 40c+ day in Tunisia but it felt even more oppressive in London all the buildings just trap the heat...

Just been to Kirby Stephen and I had a nice tan over there  :D  I came back and the annoying clouds are here. It were sunny here before!! :(

I really hope these clouds would electrify and rejuvenate into a storm. Its possible and it has happened before somewhere.

Talking about clouds getting electrify. The clouds here are getting more strange here maybe it is rejuvenating. Patience.

Do you remember when more often than not, we got thunderstorms in breakdowns?

24th July 1994, remember this well, early Sunday pm when it went bang

Less than a week later, two thunderstorms in a Spanish plume!

Something has definitely changed but I've no idea what...even under seemingly conducive conditions we seem to miss out. Makes you wonder just what is going on.
