Already just over 24°C here in Failsworth, with some cirrus and patches of Acas. Lovely! :)

It is already 21C at 8AM here and I betting 31C or 32C by afternoon if this keeps going.

Currently 23.3°C with a really quite dusty offshore breeze. Already three C higher than this time yesterday, and I think temperatures will exceed those predicted once again.

The temperatures are one thing; 25°C at this time is amazing, but also the incredibly volatile skies are unbelievable. You wouldn't think that it's 08:35 in the morning!

28c and its not even 10am. Cloud melting away.

Pretty much clear skies now, so those temperatures are just going to rocket now. I think 90°F (32.2°C) is now looking extremely likely. When was the last time 90°F was recorded in Manchester?

My 3 warmest days on record, since 1 January 2010, are:

1. 31.2°C on 1 August 2013

2. 30.4°C on 22 July 2013

3. 30.1°C on 26 July 2014

Its 10AM and its 26C already. Its getting hotter and the clouds are getting bigger. But I don't think it would develop in time to thunder here though. The wind is too strong to stay here.

Yep, I'm recording 30°C now, making it #5 in my list of hottest days. This day truly deserves to move to first place.

Well, yet again my scepticism seems to have been proved right. Cloud has moved in and completely killed any heat build up. Fantastic.... :wallbash:  :wallbash:  :wallbash:

Hawarden is reading 25c too. Definitely dropped here though. Might be subjective too because the breeze has picked up but still disappointing so far.

28.2C and overcast unfortunately. I think that's put a lid on any convection. Hopefully the sun will burn it off before lunch time

Yep. Doesn't look like it's going to shift anytime soon though tbh!

Looking at sat24, it's here for the day, how unfortunate. The regional record would of been smashed today too

A lot of cloud here as well. The rapid temperature rise of earlier has well and truly halted.

Incredibly disappointing given the forecasts / storm forecasts from yesterday.
