Lovely start so it looks like a day in the garden coming up with possibly a BBQ later although forecast temperatures aren't that great for sitting out.

Tomorrow's forecast shows the rain clearing through earlier than was originally looking to be the case so maybe not a wash out in the end.

Clear when I went to bed, with the overnight min 12.1C.  The day dawned with variable cloud, which has persisted all day but with extensive sunny intervals.  Dry all day, currently dry.  A bit breezy during the day F2-3, currently little or no breeze F0-1.  Light failing but I'd say cloud 4/8, current temp 17.4C with a one or two BBQs nearby.  Water temp in Hatchmere (Delamere Forest) is 20C which is about right for the time of year.

It feels humid today although in a freshening breeze.... I'm going to melt into a puddle of jelly come midweek.  Horrendous overnight sleeping conditions.  Maybe a thunderstorm or two will be the saving grace.  Thank god we're not in the South East!

Damp overnight and cloudy until early afternoon followed by sunny conditions until around 5pm when it became overcast for a while. Currently cloud 6/8.  Overnight min 12.7C, currently 18.5C.  Intermittent light rain overnight but dry during daylight hours.  Became quite breezy, a good F4-5, but currently light breeze F2.  Despite the breeze didn't feel too bad in the sun, but this evening does have a somewhat fresh feel.

Increasing sunny spells and 20°C. A very nice day... and indeed it's only going to get better!

Currently 21.5c here under partly cloudy, milky skies and quite a humid feel to the evening.

Met Office/BBC have called local temperatures well over the last couple of days so if they keep it up then at 27c, tomorrow and pushing 30c on Wednesday, the next couple of days are certainly going to feel on the warm side.

Left the glastonbury site at 6 am this morning 16 c and sunny , back here in the Baltic it's 18 c and cloudy :(..

You can add another 10c to that tomorrow.

Probably still be cloudy though.

some crazy temps out there , 40 c in London ???...

I'll settle for mid to high 20's for a few days with an occasional severe thunderstorm thrown in.

Others can keep the extreme temperatures they seem to be wishing for.

18c at 6.30am and met office forecasting a high of 28c in south Manchester. Seems a bit odd a temp rise of only 10c. This can be achieved on a sunny day in January surely with the the sun now being at its strongest we can expect a higher maximum temperature.

21.1°C now. Expecting to be the hottest place in the region by this afternoon with this offshore breeze

Almost unbroken sunshine here now and 22.5°C. Already just passing the maximum temperature yesterday, and only a degree off the record for the year.

Whilst it's 24'c in Manchester today, i've just seen on the Glencoe webcam that there's still snow fields left in the mountains of Scotland :cold:
