According to my weather station thermometer it's 29.8c in my back garden and it's in the shade

and out of the wind, car is registering 27c. Can anyone confirm the humidity, I've got a reading of 20% at the mo.

Surprise surprise ITS GONE FREAKING CLOUDY

You know it comes to something when the sun a week past the solstice can't burn off some high level developing cloud. It's roasting tho, but now I can't sunbathe -.-

There are patches of altocumulus trying to move in from the west. Luckily, the sun is keeping it at bay for now, and so the temperature is rising through 28°C here in Failsworth. I think 30°C is now very plausible!

You would have my sympathy mate, it would be vile to see the whole of the north west get strong thunderstorms and you get nothing.

Haha  yeah kinda used to it now. The snow events of 2009 and 2010 were the ultimate kick in the balls. Within 20 miles was getting pummelled with up to a foot of snow whereas I was getting 1-2 cm!

Very unlucky with storms though usually.

Screen reading 30.4c lounge themo reading 31.5c and garden thermo exposed in sun is reading 46c....
