Incredibly disappointing given the forecasts / storm forecasts from yesterday.

Give it another hour. Solar noon is around when it'll burn most off. It's starting to break here now with sunny spells. I have faith yet!

I'll have your cloud backtrack! its mostly sunny here now,

Take it! My tan is in need of another top up

Not sure how accurate this is but for my area it shows this... There is still some sun around but clouds are becoming more and more extensive.

How are you holding on to the sun?! Satellite shows almost all of Southern NW England under cloudcover

Not too sure to be honest. There is a bit of cloud around, but the sun is managing to come out for some time:

20 seconds of rainfall received. Drops the size of 20p coins. Very refreshing.

There's virtually not a cloud in the sky again now. The temperature is 31C and rising, and so is the humidity. Maybe back up to 32 or 33C later on?

Hot and milky sunshine.

Not expecting any thunder here, so low has my hopefulness and expectations of thunder has become, it has trended to zero. Not heard a single rumble of thunder this year thus far and have only seen one single lightning flash this year indirectly by chance on one of my night time-lapses at a distance.

I can see a 40&50C on that thermometer, so I'm sure it can go up another 18C or so ;)

is that the cold front? Must surely produce something as it interacts with the plume.

Ended up being the usual Cheshire snooze-fest here. Currently feeling muggy, but not overly hot. Overcast.  :lazy:  :lazy:  :lazy:
