Hot, Humid and overcast but no signs of any storms.  Most of it out to the west but a little potent cluster did pop up north of Halifax and that appeared home grown and sprung up from nowhere.  Conditions seem right but I doubt we'll see any pyrotechnics here.

Which part of Liverpool? If it's South Liverpool I should hear it - all windows open.

Edit: Looking South East towards the direction of Beeston and the Cheshire Gap, dark clouds and a single flash of sheet lightning.

Edit 2: Thunder and heavy rain, looking at the radar the storm spawned over the Cheshire Plain.

I'm in South Liverpool thought I heard a distant rumble-but thought it was a plane.

Getting big raindrops bit of hail mixed in - stopped now

Rumble of thunder here in Wallasey about 5 minutes ago, few splodges of fat rain fell and heavy grey cloud overhead, looks to be moving northward.

Starting to feel a tad fresher here, today has just been a killer

Overcast skies and high humidity, awful.

Cheers, look like you might experience more of the ones currently spawning over the Shropshire and Cheshire Plains.  Hopefully tonight might be interesting with a bit of luck.

Edit: more bangs and flashes with light rain.  Roads are now just about wet.

Ground well and truly soaked in Warrington, torrential rain with a couple of minute spell of fairly large hail (broad bean sized?).

Nothing here as usual, the worst place to live for exciting weather.
