Where is the rain?

 

It was forecast all day - I see it is across the Midlands. - very thin front from the NW could drop the temps a bit.

 

Not that I am bothered it is a very nice morning out there indeed. :D

18.9°C now and very sunny. Still dry, no rain for 11 days now apart from a little drizzle over night. What is going on?

Just passed 20 c here now, 20.1, the easterly surface flow is helping with the temperatures. Surely there must be a hell of a lot of CAPE building up out there, it's over 5 c warmer than forecast. Edited by Chris R

As others above mention no rain here today, started overcast,

This has now given way to thin high cloud and the sun is trying

To make an appearance. Now if we were in winter, toy's would

Be flying, as it summer I am more than happy that the rain has

Stalled in the Midlands.

Much better day than expected, though it's clouded over now. Was actually quite warm despite the forecast.

Cloudy all day but dry, with a few brief sunny intervals around lunchtime.  Overnight min 14C, 22C around 16:00, currently 15.5C. Light breeze F1-2.

Once again it is a dry and very pleasant day. It's mainly sunny and warm again. Again we are several degrees up on forecast temperatures, currently 17.7°C but I suspect a sea breeze will initiate shortly. It's been an unexpected very nice weekend, But no rain for 12 days now.

Nice day to have off work today, could not be more perfect, warm (not hot) and a refreshing breeze.  Sorted the Garden out and had a stroll in the local park.  Some rain forecast for tomorrow but it should mount to much.

Pretty much non-stop drizzle today. The only good thing was it was quite warm and humid so it wasn't quite as vile as it could have been...

That's worse! There is nothing worse having to wear a coat in warm humid weather and it's raining.

The clearance behind all of this drizzle arrived just before moonset. This is probably one of the narrowest crescent moons (2%) I have ever seen!
