Got to 20c here but felt much warmer.

Just a shame that the sun has largely been replaced by cloud now but still a lovely evening.

20.5 c owing to my tropical location, avin a beer on balcony ,afterall back to the usual tomorrow ...

After a bit of a blip tomorrow it's not looking a bad weekend although temperatures back down to the mid teens.

Perfect conditions for your three peaks walk but probably a bit damp under foot in places.

Tonight is one of those rare summer evenings where it is still warm enough at 21:00 to sit out in the garden comfortably in a t-shirt. A lovely way to end a nice summer's day.

A lovely 19C morning with some cloud, but mostly warm sunshine. It's just a shame that the Atlantic's cool, miserable Pm garbage has to move in this afternoon.

Day started well with extensive sunny intervals but around lunchtime the Cu infill developed.  Now just 16C at 2:00pm with even lower expected tomorrow.   Currently dry with but now light wind 290deg so didn't take too long to revert to NWerly.

Nice sunnymorning, cloudy afternoon and then a return to the sunshine.

A little dampness as the front came through during the late afternoon but nothing more than a bit of drizzle so in the end a decent day.

Hopefully a dry weekend coming up as well so although far from where we could be at this time of year, a vast improvement on where we have just come from.

Not the nicest of the dales but I've always liked Ribblesdale and Horton.

Aww Moki - mutt is stunning. My man used to be like that up to about a year and a half ago. Spike is a Yorkshire Dales bred Border Collie (from Settle). We got him in 2001 as a foot and mouth rescue - his owner's sheep had been killed and he and his siblings had no role in life. He has pounded the Dales all his life - being famed for scaling a 5 metre wall in Grassington in one leap and one poise on top! Sadly his living life at the edge has caught up with him, and last year he was diagnosed with dilated cardiomyopathy and has heart failure - his heart was a phenomenon throughout his healthy life, a resting heart rate of 48 used to scare vets who didn't know him, that of a true athlete - the way of some of them in retirement he has has gone himself! He has done the three peaks (not in one day) and still been begging for games at the end.

Thanks for sharing your pup...Spike is a thunder dog by the way...he's always wanted to chase the lightning (and fireworks) and has no fear of storms as we have brought him up with our fascination and love of them!

Looking good ,moki mutts resting in preparation !!!...attachicon.gifimage.jpg
