I'm almost tempted to believe the GFS has malfunctioned!

Not a bad day ,looking forward with a smirk to coming weeks downgrades !!.

Not looking forward to sitting on the cloudy, cool side of the northern limit and watching wall to wall coverage of the heatwave darn Sarf.

I know what you mean I might give NW a break if that happens !!.

The thing I hate most about a UK summer, the NW - SE split with us usually on the wrong side and it's not like I'm even being greedy.

Low to mid 20's C will suit me fine but mid teens here when the south is touching 30c really gets my back up.

After the last few weeks even that would seem hot.

Anyway less than two weeks and then I'm off to a week of guaranteed sunshine but a bit of sun before that would go down well.

Another cloudy, damp start to the day.

Yes it was forecast but it doesn't make it any better when all you want is some half decent seasonal weather.

Interestingly although not surprisingly, next weeks change to warmer/hot conditions is now looking to be a much watered down version at best but I was never expecting a heatwave up here and even a few days without rain and that nagging NW wind is something to look forward to.

At least it's beginning to brighten up here, though it's still very cool with that rotten NW'ly wind. The sooner May 2015 ends, the better.

Bright spells this afternoon with bits of sunshine at times, but with the ever constant cool NW wind making for a chilly feel overall ending what has been a disappointing May all round.

Looking forward to loosing the chilly NW wind.

Improving picture from mid afternoon onwards although still cool in the breeze.

Decent pub meal and a few pints though so not a bad day in the end.

A chilly evening here with on off lively shortlived showers, temps taking a tumble under them. Currently 9 degrees. Its also quite grey not very light. Next couple of days likely to be very poor before we see more typical early summer weather with temps back to average levels at least which will feel very good.
