Steady rain here and as calm as you can get.

Not a drop here for the last 2hrs or so.

Noticed over Norfolk and Suffolk there's been some rapid development just off the coast!

A quick posting of a radar update showing an area of potential interest for storms over the coming few hours, as shown encircled in the colour red.

All the above is stated as a mere hunch, nothing especially scientific but still going on the current atmosphere profiling as well.

 

Fingers crossed your right. Been overcast all day with a max temp of 23.8'c. Very humid and calm outside still with 100% cloud cover and sporadic outbreaks of rain.

My first post, so hi all! Thanks for keeping me entertained all day at work with your frustrated humour! It's clouding over here in Dereham, Norfolk with ominous looking skies to the south. Here's hoping......

a few distant booms from that band approaching London,electrical activety seems to have died now though as it approaches the capital.

Perhaps it can reinvigorate as it heads for your red box!

Noticed over Norfolk and Suffolk there's been some rapid development just off the coast!

And not just 'off the coast' either. I am keeping my eyes on it!

The sky looks threatening near the Oval.

 

Just along the South Coast its looked like that all afternoon, apart from the odd shower, its been quiet.

Just went out for a drive to get some beer and its raining lightly. Seems the met office app is actually a good one as it had forecast light rain for the past 2 days!

 

As for going chasing... well, I think I'm knocking that on the head now.
