Although It's been a very dry Autumn I'd love to know how much rain that gave us in the early hours and this morning, at times it was monsoon like rain.

Weekend still looking mild :) Saturday looking might fine indeed for the time of year, quite spooky actually that almost an exact repeat of the balmy temps last Halloween.

The rain is torrential so loud and intense it woke me up!

Same here. We had rain like that in Mexico overnight and for a few seconds when I woke up my brain thought I was back there.

Only a bit of light rain here - not the torrential rain parts of Kent got last night.

Heavy rain here for a good part of the morning, the afternoon though was pretty decent with sunny spells.

A nice drive home from Cambridge earlier, clear skies, the moon and fog forming over the fields, a nice sight.

Cloudy and grey start here. Rain doesn't look too far away. :(

A bright start, but things went downhill quickly from late morning.

Ugh, grey, dark nothingness. The worst kind of weather.

A band of moderate rain has set up over my location and is refusing to budge, love the sound of rain on a dark autumn night! awesome!

So tomorrow was looking at a good 16*c with sunny spells but now shows a generally cloudy picture and only 12*c...damn :(

What's the betting Firework night will be full of fog and won't be able to see anything ;)

It seemed like the sun was setting at 2pm today. The sky had the 'golden hour' orange that always happens just before sunset.

Well it makes me laugh how some were saying a summery week was ahead there's been virtually non stop cloud cover & it is very mild, and rather horrible.

I don't understand how some on this forum, take fulfilment out of this crap! :cc_confused:

I can't believe that some of you have actually had some weather recently :shok: October is usually eventful, not this one, a bit like the whole year so far :D Will I get more than 5 flakes of snow this winter? That will beat the last two winters if I do :D Unfortunately the October Fog Index says no. Now if only I could remember if we had any fog in August, because that counts too. The next two weeks are mild with SW/W winds, no early winter this year. :( Novembers always seem to be onions for the SE snow wise :( I guess this little fella :cold: is going to be on holiday for the coming month :cray:

Had some pretty heavy rain last night, that woke me up. Today has been cloudy with on-and-off drizzle.

Was rather cloudy for most of the day, but the sun did make a few short appearances. Stayed dry all day.

A gloomy start here, though there was an ominous red tinge to the sky as I woke up.

It has eventually turned out to be a very nice and sunny day.

A nice day well there is a illusion of fog in my neighbourhood as some are letting off fireworks sounds like bombs whizzing and exploding on impact! Happy Halloween folks I do not engage in it myself. :D
