As nice as this dry weather is, my word it is boring! 11C and one shade of grey.

Sudden clearance from the East in the last 10 minutes, from very dull to bright blue sky and sunshine. Satellite images hint at a lovely afternoon to come.

After an antiyclonically gloomy morning, we have had quite a bit of blue sky and sunshine this afternoon.  Feeling warmer too.

I haven't been on here much but I suppose there isn't really much going on weather wise... Long live the boredom...

Today has just been another run of the mill day with the overcast skies that are the norm this October.

It was cloudy all day with little to no wind and a mild temperature.

Rain occurred in the afternoon but was very unnoticeable with a bit of drizzle which soon turned to spits around 1:40.

At present the sky is ominous with a few spots of drizzle here and there.

Yea it is a pretty grim day Thundersnowdays. Drizzle for much of the afternoon and very gloomy most of the time with occasional brightness, it could almost be a warm sector day from the Atlantic but this is moving in from the NE!

Yes a beautiful day, I'm glad this HIGH is going out in fine style.

Though you can imagine what a pitiful breakdown to a length dry cold spell this would be had it been January. No snowy breakdown with just a high sinking south...

That's what we normally see!  Lets hope we get lucky this winter!

Glorious day finally though.

Well today was a pleasant surprise for this time of the year.

The morning was full of cumulus patches and wisps with a blue sky and cool air :)

as the afternoon came the sky turned more hazy and the heat was amazing for the time of year.

No rain was recorded and little to no wind was felt.

Actually quite a nice day today, although high cloud turned the sunshine weaker and the sky whiter compared to the morning.

The last couple of days haven't been too bad (though yesterday mainly cloudy), and I though the sky looked nice driving home this evening with the variety of high cloud ahead of the front (Some nice Autumn colours getting going around here too). Better than the generally grey cloudy and hazy conditions we had under the high before.

It felt warmer today compared to recent days although that might have been an effect of the sun
