If the rain now visible on the radar keeps the current intensity as it hits land then there will surely be some localised flooding in the SW tonight.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned the small windy spell that looks to effect Cornwall/Devon tonight along the southern areas....50+mph gusts maybe reaching near 60mph unexposed areas, it wasn't even mentioned on bbc

Trees are still in leaf so I'm surprised there wasn't a mention at least as that's strong enough to bring branches down when in leaf

A fair bit of rain during the night and quite windy with gusts up to 45mph. Looks like the front went though between 0200-0300 although it looks like it's through on the 00z analysis.

Now cloudy with thin AS, temp 13C and a breeze from the WSW.

Quite some temperature variations in the last 24 hours ...

16.00 yesterday ; 14.8c under drizzly low cloud
22.00 yesterday ; 8.8c under clear moonlit sky
06.00 today ; 15.4c under heavy rain and very strong wind
15.30 today ; 14.1c under hazy sunshine

So a nearly 7c rise overnight alongside the rain/wind and a drop of over 1c once the sun has come through.

Surprised to find 21.6mm in the gauge at 09.00 today, more since has only been drizzle blown about by a strong breeze.  Max temp 15.6°C and no sign of bright skies let alone any sunshine.

very stubborn fog here, I'm not holding out much hope of it lifting at all today.

Fog-mist-little bits of blue-mist-fog.  After the glorious day yesterday, somewhat of a disappointment.

Unlike yesterday the fog has burned off in the last hour and we have a pleasant early afternoon at 13.2c with sunny spells and Stratocumulus.

Cloud tried to clear but then came back in, currently 12.7c with a high earlier of 13.2c.

Yesterday also had low cloud all day though it cleared about an hour before sunset, followed by rapid fog patch formation around sunset.

Fog retreated back to the immediate coast at around 10am this morning, and have had beautiful sunshine until around an hour ago when the fog has returned and is much thicker than this morning!

Really am surprised the Met Office didn't include us in the warning as its causing a lot of travel problems, especially on the motorways around here.
