Mornin all, really clear night for good celestial viewing has led to a cool morning as the temps fall.

Wall to wall blue, although bank of cloud can be seen off to the east towards Portsmouth and the IOW.

Good effort Andy. We were passing by Middle Wallop yesterday, wondering what everyone was hanging around for. I guessed it could be the Vulcan, so we parked on the hill just outside the village, as it buzzed the airfield on it's way to Salisbury.

 

An incredible machine.

Cool/cold start this morning at 05.1C but lovely clear skies so far and the wind hasn't picked up yet. Cloud amounts look variable this week so perhaps not quite the sparkling weather we had at the end of September/start of this month but autumnal nonetheless.

Mornin' all, another clear one, for gazing at the heavens overnight has let temps drop, even the ice warning kicked in this morning on the car (the 1st this winter!).

Coldest morning of the autumn so far with a minimum of 03.0C. Lovely clear, crisp morning though.

First frost of the year over the fields this morning. Absolutely lovely.

When we had the settled spell a few weeks ago with the Easterly wind there was barely any cloud at any time of day for a week. However this time around while the Easterly breeze is similar it is following another pattern ; clear sunny mornings, fair weather Cumulus by midday, overcast with brief sunny spells most of the afternoon then clear by dusk.

Raining, showers have pushed much further West today, however it is only the 4th day with rain in the last 20 days.

Build up of Sc and some Cu this afternoon but now clearing with mainly just some small Cu.

Twas a cold one for the time of year, not cold enough here for snow of course. Re: my original post, just wanted to let people know I'm still around, snow or no snow, rain or shine, come hell or high water.
