Morning all , well what a wild night.

lost 2 fence panels which allowed our lovely husky to escape, after looking for her for about an hour we unfortunately found her dead on the side of the road.

thanks to the asshole who didn't even have the decency to stop or even call us.

Mia (jinge) will be sadly missed, rest in peace my baby x

Terrible! Disgusting attitude of the person who hit her.

My sympathies. :(

Guess we won't know till Friday night and even then there will be no guarantee either way, such is the weather in the southeast when it comes to snow.

Sorry to here about Mia, hope they catch the driver.

Sorry for your loss Timbo.

Another mixed bag today with some sun, some wind and a little bit of rain.

As for the weekend...... knife edge, we could see showers and they could fall as snow.

Hopefully we won't get the within 24 hour downgrade of 850s which swings the balance from widespread snow to rain. That seemed to happen far too often last winter.

This is a good thing I always find because it keeps flip flopping, keeps us in the game, the longer that goes on the better our chances. Also little things like the BBC/Meto forecast showing sleet symbols I like to see also...like it currently is lol

One annyoing thing is the Rain has come to early, if only that Friday AM rain was delayed 24/48hrs !

Sorry to hear about your loss Timbo, very sad indeed.

Thank you for all your kind words, been a horrible day without her by my side, she is being cremated tomorrow, then we will sprinkle her ashes over the field where we used to run together.

Meh - today was sunny at first, but the cloud with some medium-intensity showers soon spilled in. Quite breezy for a time around 1200.

Well there was the torrential rain shower. Some stunning cloudscapes prior to this.

I guess tonight wil be the first time to check out the fax charts for Saturday and see what potential there is.

For hubs to have the front window open and i'm sitting on the sofa in a t-shirt when I live in a woolly hat from now on normally is saying something. It really didn't feel that cold still out there.

However it tipped it down and was quite windy.

A downgrade in terms of how much precipitation is forecast and it only clips medway eastwards on that run most of us won't see any if that's to verify

Eastern fringes are almost guaranteed snow showers sparking off by the toasty North Sea question is how far these will penetrate inland it is down to nowcasting. Last time I had snow in November was 2010. :)
