Well if March is something like this, then all is forgiven :D

3.2c and rain here, not even the slightest hint of sleet on the windscreen.

as for overnight, not expecting anything wintry and if the best on offer is a cm of wet slush, I'll give it a miss.

one thing is pretty certain, the weekend is looking wet with temperatures reaching double figures so, unlike the slightly below average snap we are having at the moment, there is no way that this will downgrade into anything slightly interesting.

chances are that at some stage in the future, a threatened cold spell will actual upgrade but I'll not hold my breath waiting.

Now that was a proper snowstorm, remember it well and similar in many ways what we had on 22nd March 2013.

and what followed was over 10 weeks of rinse and repeat snow, blizzards and bitter cold.

a real winter.

Someone here on the forum said in October that 5 months misery is coming. I thought, come on, we will have nice sunny periods, looks like I was wrong..it is now 3 months misery (weatherwise), with very little settled or sunny weather...... Today, it had to cloud over as soon as the sun appeared in the sky to conserve the "just above freezing" T, then from midday, light rain, followed by heavy rain and from 3pm to 4pm sleet for an hour - this was not really in any forecast for today. :nonono:

Pictures taken around 4pm from above St Asaph, to the West and to the East, respectively.

Definite ice/hail/graupel mixed in outside..... And had two house buyer reports done and both rentals are now nearly done and dusted... Anyone looking for rentals above 300m look for end of march inhouse.....
