I cant get access to the sat, but is this seperate mini low further west hence giving the snow on pennines n rain here, as it seems that way!!. Any ideas? I reckon further east n we would all have had snow!

I live near Leeds Bradford, and it's bloody blowing, I tell you.

Open to correction from aviation anoraks here but it's blowing straight down/up the runway, I think the limits on headwinds/tailwinds are much tighter than they are crosswinds.

Crosswinds are more limiting, headwinds can make things much easier with slower approach speeds over the ground. Problem is that it’s gusting hard which makes approaches very unstable.

Wow the meto have again got this hugely wrong. Rain here at 2.5, pennines now dry, precip on the west coast.

But as per they will again ignore this fact and move on because not enough people make a fuss about it, yet they knowingly know the truth!

You're lucky we had NOTHING here in the SE and I'm an avid snow fan
