Snow here in hoyland.

Nothing over special, pretty flakes falling, nothing intense at the moment.

Conditions with the ice are terrible on footpaths and side roads though.

Hopefully Barnsley gets some of that yellow stuff (on the radar ) shortly!

Stuck in no-mans land here between heavy showers just off the coast and the area of precipitation to the west. This always seems to happen nowadays. We had rain and sleet all of yesterday and into the night and now its finally cold enough its dry!

The prec on the radar looks more intense than it was a little while ago. Could get additional covering from this although there is a narrow band of weakness which seems to have this post code on so maybe not for us.

Bull eyes for the light spot just arrived here so just light snow. The good news for us is that it's closing up.

Don't know what area of Sheffield you're in mate but it's heavy snow where I am in north Sheffield.

Well I've been under the yellows on radar for an hour now but I think the air on the Eastern edge is just too dry for the intensity seen in the videos above so we've mostly had just flurries, although with big fat flakes. Heaviest it got was this...

Just now, Sheffield snow said:

Where the gap is in the radar. Looking fairly dry tot he north west of us which doesn't tie in with the radar.
