Glad you've had a covering.

Hard frost here this am, unfortunately I think most will see zero snow this cold spell.

Thanks Mountain, checked that out before but its just showing old images. I will play about with it here and see if I can work it out. As for the covering it really is the slightest dusting I have filed it under meh.

Raining again at 1.6c. Irish snow shield in full effect.

Aye. This cold spell has been pretty much a non event.

Would rather some big Winter storms than this.

A light dusting Thursday night and woke to a decent covering on Friday. Nothing since, even the warning for snow last night was all sleet and rain. Not great so far but at least the Dublin snow shield was broken!

2/10 for this cold spell for me, and the 2 is simply because I did get 8 minutes of moderate snow.

A Northerly toppler produces far more snow than weak North Easterlies.

Disappointing/underwhelming as this cold spell has been, it’s still, in my eyes, so much more welcome than westerly/southwesterly default with temps of 10 degrees and no snow even on mountaintops. When we revert to that, we’ll be wishing for this!

I do enjoy a good Winter storm though.

Cracking  morning  out. -5c earlier and trees are still  white with  frost. Could  be an ice day.

I know what you mean, though I only usually look to that with interest when all hope is lost. It comes with a mild pattern built in.
