A small localised trough looks like moving into Eastern Down later this evening.

Maybe a chance of a cm or two for some.

I noticed my app is forecasting light snow for Belfast this evening. Has any met office or broadcaster mentioned this? Still waiting my first flake.

There's a small chance of some light precipitation this evening moving from SE to NW off the Irish Sea, but it will likely be localised and light, do don't be getting your hopes up.

2 ice days in a row IMBY. That's pretty impressive especially not having lying snow to lower the temp.

Well that’s really disappointing, considering how cold it is that precipitation on radar moving in from the east coast is showing as sleet and rain. Anyone underneath it yet to confirm?

It's right over me. 90% rain and I'm at 470 feet ASL.

Sums up this cold spell well.

Well that is truly shocking with all this cold air about please reset quickly as possible i would take a north-westerly and winds pushing showers across the province better chance of snow than this setup currently.

Very cold this morning, still below freezing here at -2C.

I think we're a bust over here for anymore snow chances until after the weekend, when there are subtle signs of a cold North Westerly occurring which provides more of an opportunity for snow than this cold spell has provided.

It’s snowing here now with a bit more to come from North looking at radar

Well, it was fun watching that small cell move slowly down from the North East and basically fragment and dissipate before it reached here.  I can see snow falling a couple of miles East and West of me.

Very frustrating this spell has been.

On the positive side of things, this time next week is looking very very interesting in the run up to Christmas with a potential decent North to North Westerly airstream.

Hope you are all doing well folks. Really enjoying the cold this week. Had a few snow showers here today which was nice to see. If the 12z GFS is to be believed then next Tuesday and Wednesday look great for snow from the North West.

-1 C here all day. It's a great pity this is going to end at the weekend. I really hope the GFS and UKMO signal for cold to return is correct.
