If I’d of known I’d of said hi

when I’m on a shopping mission I’m in world of my own…

Me to.

Just heard that the Chill Factor roof near the Trafford Centre has been badly damaged by the winds.

Just a miserable day all round. No further comment. Not one redeeming feature let's get this stuff out of the way now and hope for something more palatable in the run to Christmas.

Somewhat of a squall-line has now passed with clear skies approaching from the SW, first bit of sunshine we've had all day and with a rainbow as a bonus. Luring many into a false sense of security I would imagine as the winds are due to ramp-up yet again from 6pm onwards as the center of Barra approaches ever nearer.

Think we are now in the eye, very calm with some sunshine.  Awaiting the backend to come in i guess

Not surprised the warning had cancelled I've seen the hills near Chorley didn't have any snow, even Winter Hill.

Bit of a damp squib, if you will pardon the pun. Some heavy rain when I went out at 1.30pm but cleared to blue skies and some brightness by the time I returned an hour later. Winds no more than normal for this time of year.......unless there's something lurking around that I don't know about!

Yep you'd be forgiven for forgetting there was supposed to be a storm today, just felt like a usual miserable overcast day here with a bit of wind, night & day compared to storm Arwen

I think it will feel a bit more wild later on when those showers come in and the wind ramps up as the low-pressure centre comes closer.
