Not great; another dark, grey December day, this time with strong winds. After a wintry, cold start, December has reverted to normal......depressingly familiar.

Not the best day for it but with my missus only just getting over a cold, both of us both being on holiday and me suffering from cabin fever it’s time for a mooch around the shops.

A quick 4hr hike this early morning before Barra arrives and yet even up on Sponds Moor it was bitterly cold with a harsh windchill which luckily I was well prepared for, now i'm home and the worst of the winds are just beginning to pick up.

Wind gusts getting stronger here, ripping noise just heard outside was the ridge of a roof on a building opposite being blown off.

Back from my shopping round robin to M&S, LIDL and Tesco.  Very windy with all sorts of debris airborne.

If you have a CC, Baileys 9.50 for a litre !

No real wind here this time but extreme biblical rain has flooded the area in some parts.
